Strategic Intent in Focus: Strategic Intent in Focus: From Services to Platforms - AI, Trust, Resilience and Specialist Scale
“Technology is not just adding capability but it’s changing business models.”
- Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO, Microsoft
This captures the central theme perfectly: buyers are increasingly acquiring technology, data, trust and scalable capability - not simply adding people or services.
Technology Becomes the Value Layer. Accenture’s acquisitions across industrial software, SAP and operational-technology cybersecurity reflect a broader shift towards owning specialist platforms and implementation expertise. Paritee-Ainigma, ADA-Algonomy, Burson-Limbik and Stagwell-QStrauss reinforce the same trend across communications and marketing, where value is increasingly tied to AI, data and repeatable technology-enabled delivery.
Trust and Resilience Attract Investment. Nielsen-DoubleVerify, PPHC-Tancredi, FGS-RFA and Linden-Relevate show continued demand for assets operating in areas where credibility, regulatory knowledge and proprietary data are difficult to replicate. Accenture’s cybersecurity investments extend this theme into critical infrastructure, where visibility, security and operational resilience are becoming strategic priorities.
Platforms Drive Growth. First Focus-Resolve and Walker Sands-RevPartners show how buyers are adding recurring, technology-enabled services that sit deeper within client operations. Alongside IMA-VF! and Hyve-Chain of Events, these deals demonstrate the value of combining specialist delivery and strong client relationships with broader platforms capable of supporting cross-selling and long-term growth.

USA / UK: PPHC Acquires Tancredi
Tancredi adds corporate affairs, financial communications, crisis, reputation and litigation communications, together with an established European footprint.
Initial consideration of GBP 8.0m (USD 10.6 million) – GBP 7.2 million cash (USD 9.6 million) and GBP 0.8 million in shares (USD 1.1 million). Aggregate consideration can reach GBP 25.0 million (USD 33.2 million) through profit-linked earn-outs to 2030, plus an estimated GBP 0.8 million (USD 1.1 million) net-cash adjustment.
Initial price is about 1.9x net revenue and 6.2x adjusted profit before tax.
YEFIRA INSIGHT: “Specialist communications assets are attracting premiums because senior trust, cross-border networks and regulated-sector expertise are scarce and difficult to replicate.”
